In Fuzhou High-Tech Zone, a large-scale fire drill was conducted to simulate one of the most perilous urban fire scenarios: a fire in a 130-metre-high building. The fire spread over more than 500 square metres, fueled by over 10 tonnes of flammable materials. Stairways were blocked by flames, and traditional firefighting ladders could not reach the upper floors. The situation mirrored a real-world challenge where conventional methods alone would not be sufficient.

The team deployed the Jinghong FR300 Firefighting Drone. This heavy-lift UAV is designed for high-rise fire emergencies. It carried hoses skyward, replacing ground ladders that could not reach.

The drones launched swiftly. In just 20 seconds, they reached 100 metres and directed powerful water jets at the blaze. With precise targeting, they attacked fire hotspots inaccessible from the ground. Their steady flight enabled continuous spraying while ensuring firefighters below remained safe.

Project Results

In less than 30 minutes, the fire was brought under control. The drill demonstrated the importance of Jinghong firefighting drones in urban fire safety. They showed how UAVs can combat high-rise fires more safely, swiftly, and effectively than conventional methods alone.
